RECOMMENDATIONS TO ACHIEVE THE BEST PERFORMANCE OUT OF A COOKER HOOD
Distance between the hood and the hob
Conserve a minimum separation of 65cm between the hood and the hob. Cooking with less separation is uncomfortable and the heat from the burners may spoil parts of the hood.
Ducting Length
The distance between the hood and the point at which the smoke exits the house will determine the effort the motor will need to perform. We recommend not ducting unnecessarily long.
Avoid accidents
By accidents, we mean elbow joints, corners, strangling, etc. of the smoke extractor pipe.
Multi-layer filters
The multi-layer metallic filters of Pacific cooker hoods, with up to six layers, are designed to achieve maximum efficiency in smoke extraction, capturing grease filters and fireproof and can be easily washed with dishwashing liquids for perfect maintenance.
Re-circulation
This is the solution for installations with no point of exit. In re-circulation mode, the hoods suck in the smoke and purifies the air through the active charcoal filter, returning it to the kitchen, odour-and grease-free.
